Amy Flis: Jeweler.Artist.Person.

I am a 2003 graduate of Moore College of Art & Design in Philadelphia.  I majored in 3-D Fine Arts with a concentration in metal work.  I am a full time embroiderer and a part time art teacher, and I love every minute of it!  I teach Anime & Cartooning in West Chester & Kennett Square for the Chester County Art Association.  My students help keep the art alive. They're a great inspiration to be around as they remind me of myself when I was their age, a sponge for absorbing art.  The learning never stops.

If I had to select a word to describe my work, it would be "Patternless".  Creating art; whether it is wearable or not, has always been a passion of mine, and I pride myself on creating work As I Invision It!  Everything that I make is drawn, cut, sculpted or collaged free hand, and I consider it an honor to be able to share it with the public.

Enjoy!
